Days 4-5-6,

Day 4 - Didn't play much, stacked a retardo, made it to 1k in 2k hands, that is 50 bb/100, so this is gonna be a breeeeeze. (Total +1000)

Day 5 - Or not. Total cold deck facial. Mark was watching and we both agreed to do some questionable plays. He is officially the king of shoving in 50-50 situations, since he's at 19k, and I'm stuck getting owned. (-560 for the day, total +440)

Day 6a - I played 2 sessions, and well, the first was a disaster. I got KK and ran head first into a red wall named AA. Got it back taking QQ and pwning AJ on a J high flop. Then got stacked pulling a Mark and AGAIN getting called. (-$300, total +140)

Day 6b - Played great, got stacked HUGE, $250 stack went down in flames to a VERY poor raise on the river, After he shoved, I was ready to give it all up. Online poker just wasn't for me. Especially after a fellow s7s member quit. However, I don't remember what did it, but I went back at it, and showed the most heart I ever have, stacked some donks, and got everything back, + 160. ($460, total +600)

Here's the "dumb" raise.

New goal, Mansion bet.

It's official, I have 7 days of teenager status left. Next Tuesday, Ill be turning 20, and its time to grow up and get serious. With that in mind, I have a new goal, but I'm gonna start it after my birthday, similar to Bill Ivey's, but def not as much. It'll be good to improve my struggling NL cash game, whether I get there or not.

In case you have been living in a rock the past week, you would know that there is a huge promotion at Mansion Poker that is basically a $1100 Freeroll on the NFL season opener between the Steelers and Dolphins. Basically, you pick the Steelers to win, and if they do, you get $2100 in your account, and if you lose, you get the $1100 you bet back. Sounds too good to be true, but I havent been making much playing poker, so I think its worth a shot. Not to mention, you can guarantee a profit by "hedging" and betting on the Dolphins on another sportsbook. I haven't decided whether I will do that tho, and I've been running so bad that I think the Steelers are due for a win (which is good news for the thousands betting on the Steelers)

Anyways, August was over -3k loss. September has always been my luckiest month though, so we'll see if things pick up. I think I'm at the cusp of becoming a GOOD player, and the rest of the year will be a good view of where I'm at, since I will have tons of time to focus because of school complications.

I will blog more often...starting with the FCP Superstars on Sept 11, and my new goal.

Later.

FCP Toronto #3

Short blog, dont wanna give a rundown on the hands, cuz even though I could write a book, its not even worth it. It's supposed to b e a fun event, dont wanna bore with that kinda shit. On that note, I ran real gooooooood once we got 4 handed. Played 2 games, got 1st in the official tourney and 2nd in the funniest turbo game ever. I need to play more live, I was a tell rack.

Need to finish strong in the FTOPS, 4 events, no cash. Only 2 to go. PLO tonight, Main Event tomorrow.
